Focus on core task: drinking water supply

In order to meet the increasing demand, PWNT needs to expand internationally and focus even more on the development and marketing of its knowledge and technology. We must focus on our core task: drinking water supply and management of nature reserves in the province of North Holland.

Surface water will be most important water source

Unterirdisches Regenwassermanagement für klimaresiliente Städte

Mit zunehmenden Wetterextremen wächst der Bedarf an effektiven Regenwassermanagement-Systemen. Der Bircorainblock von Birco bietet eine unterirdische Lösung zur Retention und kontrollierten Versickerung von Niederschlagswasser – ein wichtiger Beitrag für die klimaangepasste Stadtentwicklung.

PFAS in den meisten Trinkwasserproben nachgewiesen

In einer bundesweiten Stichprobenuntersuchung hat der Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland (BUND) in 42 von 46 Trinkwasserproben PFAS nachgewiesen. Teilweise überschreiten die gemessenen Werte die künftig geltenden Grenzwerte der Trinkwasserverordnung. Der Verband fordert eine umfassende Beschränkung der gesamten PFAS-Stoffgruppe.

SECURITY UNTER KONTROLLE 2026: Sicherheit im Betrieb

Filtrations- und Separationsprozesse werden zunehmend digital gesteuert und überwacht. Damit entstehen neue Möglichkeiten, aber auch wachsende Anforderungen an die Sicherheit der technischen Systeme. Kooperation für CO2-Abscheidung in Aarhus

BASF und Andritz haben einen Lizenzvertrag über die Nutzung der Gaswäschetechnologie Oase blue geschlossen. Die Technologie soll in einem Projekt zur CO2-Abscheidung in einem Müllheizkraftwerk in Aarhus, Dänemark, eingesetzt werden. Das Vorhaben soll das Ziel der Stadt unterstützen, bis 2030 CO2-neutral zu werden.

Gärreste aus Biogasanlagen als Basis für grünes Methanol

Im Rahmen des Innovationsbündnisses „biogeniV“ untersuchen das Deutsche Biomasseforschungszentrum und die Technische Universität Freiberg, wie bislang ungenutzte biogene Reststoffe als Rohstoff für grüne Chemikalien genutzt werden können. Ziel ist es, diese Stoffströme zu hochwertigen Energieträgern wie grünem Methanol zu veredeln.
