Keep abreast of developments in the manufacture, conversion and applications of nonwovens. The Nonwovens Learning Cycle, organised in collaboration with CETI, offers an integrated approach to nonwovens from the basics, via intermediate, to advanced courses in Meltblown, Spunlaid, Carding. Who should attend? If you are asking yourself questions such as: What is the difference between spunlaid and spunlace? Is drylaid the same as carding? Where can I get a simple and clear explanation of the various technologies? Which materials can be used to manufacture sustainable nonwovens? The course offers: a unique overview of all aspects of nonwovens,technologies, raw materials and applications an online platform to meet and network with fellow professionals in the nonwovens industries a right balance between theory and practical exercices The sessions (each course compromises 4 sessions of 2 hours each, dates from february to october) are designed to strengthen the understanding and the technical knowledge of any professional of the nonwovens industry involved with producers, suppliers, converters and retailers. The English-instructed Aachen Membrane Course for Water Technologies (MCW) organized by the Department of Chemical Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University will take place from May 25th to May 27th 2021 in Aachen and is hosted by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Wessling. The course comprises theoretical and practical knowledge of membrane processes in the field of water technologies and is open for professionals of different backgrounds. Currently established technologies such as micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration (MF, UF & NF) as well as reverse osmosis (RO) will be covered. Emerging technologies such as electrodialysis will receive special attention. The highlights: Invited speakers Hands-on module design Short-cut process design Monitoring and analysis Extensive lab tour Social program The course content does not require any specific previous knowledge in membrane technologies and is advisable to any professional, either from R&D, engineering, production, marketing or sales who would like to obtain a theoretical background of the subject backed by practical experiences. The Aachen Membrane Course for Water Technologies is a lunch-to-lunch course. In addition to lectures and case studies, the visit of our laboratory and pilot scale sites and a joint dinner complete the course program.
