The sixth conference on the Environmental Dimension of Antimicrobial Resistance will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, September 22-27, in a hybrid format.
Since the first EDAR meeting in 2012, the conference series has become the largest international scientific meeting specifically addresses the role of the environment in antibiotic resistance.
EDAR attempts to embrace a broad set of topics, including e.g. pollution sources and fates in the environment, environmental selection and evolution of resistance, transmission of genes and bacteria between different environments/humans/animals, surveillance, risk assessment strategies, and both technical and policy-related means of mitigating risks.
