NETZSCH Pumps and Systems has expanded its product portfolio. The supplier in the field of positive displacement pumps, the peristaltic pump now complements the portfolio of the Waldkraiburg based pump manufacturer alongside the well-known technologies of the progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps and multi screw pumps.

Peristaltic pumps offer broader range of applications

The complementary product group covers even the most complex applications in diverse areas. „The useful addition of peristaltic pumps to our product range enables us to meet customer requirements across an even broader range of applications“, says Robert Kurz, Director Sales & Marketing at NETZSCH Pumps & Systems, happily.

In addition to the well-known technologies of NEMO® progressing cavity pumps, TORNADO® rotary lobe pumps and NOTOS® multi screw pumps, the PERIPRO peristaltic pumps complement the product range at NETZSCH. The model is available in an industrial, chemical and food version. The revolutionary PERIPRO peristaltic pump combines the advantages of the roller and shoe principle. NETZSCH has thus created a unique product which will take your process to the next level.

Advantages of PERIPRO peristaltic pumps

  • High flexibility for a wide range of applications and media
  • Robust construction
  • Significantly reduced energy consumption thanks to large roll diameter
  • Low service effort and costs due to fewer wear parts
  • Long service life
  • Insensitive to dry running
  • Easy reversal of conveying direction
  • High dosing accuracy
  • Low lubricant requirement
  • Extremely high suction capacity

Industrial version enables pumping most challenging media

Pumping systems are often subjected to significant loads in the industry. Many of the media to be pumped contain a high proportion of solids or have a high fiber content. This places exceptionally high stress on the pumping system. A unique and extremely robust design and an extremely high suction capacity enable you to pump media such as sludge or ceramic slurries without any problems with the PERIPRO pump.

Chemical media can cause severe difficulties for pumping systems. These are acidic and corrosive media that must be pumped in many applications. Robustness and resistance are needed more than ever to ensure a safe process. The PERIPRO hose pump in chemical version is available for you in selected material designs. The housing is covered with a special Tefzel coating, making the pump extremely corrosion-resistant. As a result, appropriate media can be pumped without any problems.

Almost all media in the food industry are highly sensitive to contamination or are thus unusable for the consumer. As a result, special attention is given to the pumps and systems involved in the production process. Thanks to its innovative design, the new PERIPRO enables the end user to pump without the risk of contamination. It is CIP („Cleaning-In-Place“) capable, which means cleaning can be carried out within the system, as the rollers can be easily removed via a flap in the cover, making it easy to clean the inside of the pump. The hose is also manufactured from food-grade FDA certified nitrile. With its design, the food version enables contamination-free conveying in the food industry as well as effortless cleaning.

Lower energy consumption and no wearing parts

In addition to the application-specific aspects, our new peristaltic pumps still offer numerous common advantages across the various designs. All models are very efficient. The large roller diameter reduces the pump’s energy consumption by up to one third while simultaneously increasing the service life of the hose. PERIPRO peristaltic pumps also require almost no wearing parts. There is no need for valves or mechanical seals. The only wearing part is the hose. And even this is characterised by exceptional durability thanks to an innovative manufacturing process. Besides a long service life, the models are also insensitive to dry running and have a low lubricant requirement. The conveying direction can be easily reversed in all versions without any performance loss. Finally, all new PERIPRO peristaltic pumps models enable extremely high dosing accuracy with deviations of less than one percent.
