Filtrieren & Separieren International Edition

The International Edition of F&S – Filtrieren und Separieren covers a wide range of current topics from different application areas of filtration and separation: You will find the highlights of the years 2025/2026 from all relevant fields of application such as filter development, air and gas purification, solid-liquid separation, particle analysis and membrane technology.
This issue of F&S international brings together four fields that show how closely separation technology is linked to today’s industrial challenges. The Filter Development section looks at material behavior, simulation, and media design as the basis for reliable performance under real operating conditions. In Air and Gas Purification, the focus is on hydrogen, CO₂ capture, industrial flue gases, and dust collection. Solid-Liquid Separation addresses sludge treatment, coalescence filtration, PFAS management, and zero-liquid-discharge concepts. Finally, the Membrane Technology section highlights applications ranging from drinking water and reuse to semiconductor production, municipal wastewater treatment, and industrial cycles.
We hope you enjoy reading this issue!

Unsere Top-Themen

Filter development is where separation performance begins: in material structures, flow behavior, charge effects, and manufacturing precision. The contributions in this section show how simulation, process understanding, and practical service concepts help transform filter media and systems from technical components into reliable solutions for industrial use.
